Hey there.

You’ve found your way here for a reason. Something in your life is shifting. You’re contemplating what it means to care for others—and for yourself—in the face of mortality. That’s where I come in.

I am your Mortality Companion, a guide through the landscapes of caregiving, legacy, and end-of-life contemplation. These are not unfamiliar paths to me. I have walked them many times, lighting the way for those who need steady footing. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

A Light on the Path

The Tibetan name given to me during my refuge ceremony is Dechen Chodron—loosely translated as "blissful lamp on the path of dharma." Nearly a decade later, this name still guides my purpose: to stand as a steady presence in the often-overlooked space between living and dying.

This work is not about fear. It’s about clarity, intention, and the quiet knowing that when the time comes—whether for yourself or someone you love—you will be prepared.

I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I know these woods of mortality well. If we come across a path that is unfamiliar, I will walk it with you. Together, we can face anything.

Welcome. You are exactly where you need to be.
